Join Evelyn for a 3-hour mobility and strength workshop.

This will be a intensive 3-hour session focused on mobility to open up the body, with isolation exercises to help mobilise hips, ankles and thoracic spine - the parts that often get stiff.

We will then finish off with a 1-hour strength session targeting all of the main muscle groups, giving us ample time to focus on proper form/technique.

Investment: £30 per person plus refreshments.

Testimonials

"I was unsure on booking about what this workshop would entail but hoped it would help me to learn and improve my on going fitness.
It was excellent. You made it informed but informal, fun and encouraging but definitely making muscles work. It was helpful that there was time to learn correct controlled movements . The use of the band was good , definitely not easy but good for ongoing exercising.
Thank you"

“Thank you so much for today's workshop. Lizzy and I learned a lot and really enjoyed the combination of theory and practical. I loved the way you explained and delivered the session.

Having worked in a crazy demanding job and been a mum the past 30 odd years, I’ve never had the capacity to indulge in too much time for myself. Thankfully, Ric and I are beginning to have more time for ourselves and feel incredibly fortunate to have our membership at Champneys . As I mentioned today, restorative yoga on Sunday evening is something we both feel such benefit from and are extremely grateful for when we can both attend and you’re taking the class.

Until today, I had never given any thought to the difference between mobility and flexibility or active and passive and how that links with strength training.
I found your explanation really interesting and the practical session a challenge at times, which I’m sure I can learn from.

During our membership I have shied away from the gym or classes that might be too energetic etc as I was diagnosed with long covid and still have weird blood results which can't really be explained. I’m beginning to think I’m feeling ready to try a bit more in terms of classes and maybe with your guidance via some PT sessions get started in the gym and improve my fitness, mobility and flexibility. I really do want to make the most of this next chapter of life ."
